New this year is our warm weather Spring Training camp based near Malaga, in the Axarquia region of Andalucia in Southern Spain which enjoys one of the best micro-climates in the world. |
Running training can be difficult at certain times of the year in the UK. With all the will, mental strength and enthusiasm in the world it can be hard to go out and get cold and wet. A training program in southern Spain can be of great benefit and a week away in the sun with no other distraction could be even better. Our programmes are ideal for the runner who is seeking a more adventurous holiday break, with an early run or training session and with the rest of the day spent relaxing with their family, or for the committed runner who wants a few good hard days training and trail running in the mountains.

The Rural Hotel Cantueso is situated in the mountains above Lake Viñuela, northeast of Malaga. The accommodation consist of villas with one or two bedrooms and living rooms with sofa beds, self catering fully equipped kitchens, TV and terraces overlooking the mountains and lake. |
Prices are based on two people sharing and on a half board basis. The restaurant has an excellent menu and caters to vegetarians and vegans. Good restaurants and evening entertainment available nearby.
The sports centre is located at an altitude of 650m and the area is full of on and off road trails and tracks with lakeside runs. Mountain bikes, and a small but well equipped gym supplement training programmes as does use of the 15m pool onsite. Nearby is an heated indoor pool and a 400m 8 lane running track. An osteopath, masseuse and sports specific specialists are also available.
Training programmes can be designed to meet specific individual requirements. The Mediterranean beaches are just 30 minutes away and many interesting alternatives including sailing and canoeing, horse riding, mountain biking and special interest days are available for the family.
Prices are based on Easyjet services from Luton. As Easyjet operate a flexible pricing system, the prices shown are a guide and may vary up or down at the time of booking. Easyjet also operate flights to Malaga from Gatwick, Stansted, East Midlands and Liverpool. Alternative prices are available on request. Car hire is cheap and as we are based in a rural location we recommend that, if you wish to explore the area, you hire a car for the duration of your holiday.
