RunAway in the UK

Most of our UK races provide excellent training platforms for the London or other Spring Marathons you may be considering. These weekends provide a great opportunity to run and race in areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Coniston 14

The highlight of each weekend is the opportunity to test yourself against local athletes. All RunAway UK weekend breaks include guaranteed entry into leading local races, varying in distance from 10k to 20 miles.

Our weekends are structured so that race day is always Day 2, enabling you to let you hair down that evening - not forgetting of course, the recovery run on the following morning.

What's included?

Arrival and departure days on all our UK weekend breaks follow a similar format:

Arrival

We meet up in time for afternoon tea, a welcome to the weekend and a warm-up run. Dinner in the hotel will be preceded by training tips from one of our expert advisors.

Departure

Following breakfast, we head out for a recovery run after the previous day's exertions, before returning to shower and then enjoy lunch and a final get together.
