Haweswater Half Marathon
|
Sunday 7th March 2020

Although a relative newcomer to the running calendar this race is fast becoming a classic with its dramatic course offering a tremendously exhilarating and challenging run through a wild and remote landscape. Coupled with one of our training runs either around Derwentwater or over Latrigg, Keswick's own fell, this weekend makes an ideal training break in preparation for London. |

Now in its 23rd year, this one has everything. Rated one of the top UK races of 2020, the scenery, the organisation, the camaraderie, even the hills make this event worth the journey. From a runners point of view a Saturday race is perfect and you can make a genuine weekend of it. The 14 miles are certainly testing but not debilitating, and the run is quickly behind you rather than hanging over you for half the weekend. |

Keswick Half Marathon
|
Sunday 2nd May 2020

Regularly attracting over 500 runners from all over the UK, this well supported Lakeland race offers a relatively tough but extremely attractive course with many stunning views. Organised by the local rugby club, there's plenty of opportunity for a post-race beer or two. A great opportunity to combine a few days in the northern Lakes with one of its most popular races. |

Tough, hilly, and extremely challenging. One of the hardest 10 mile races around but with stunning views over the Vale of York in one direction and Brimham Rocks in the other. Part of the Black Sheep Challenge Series - the free bottle of beer for all finishers is well deserved.
